All SUP’s come standard with a 10 inch fiberglass fin, double barrel concave bottom. All SUP’s are hand shaped, and hand laminated, for fast and maneuverable performance. The double barrel concave bottom is designed after your favorite old long board! Ever had an old long board that was the best longboard that you ever had? The boards performance just got better & better the older it got. With a sun-ridden glass job over the years, where the foam sank & the glass job suck up to the stringer, creating a double cave almost the whole length of the board. Then you go to a local shaper or surfboard shop & you can never just get that shape in a new board that your old longboard turned into? Our SUP’s are that brand new version of your favorite “broken in” long board. Wave Rod Hawaii SUP’s have the double barrel concave all the way threw more than ¾’s of the board to give you stability, to release the water on the bottom of the board for speed, & to help the board to become more loose with the deep double barrel concave to help the board to go to rail to rail, for bottom turns, & cutbacks on the wave. Our SUP’s are awesome wave riders, nose riders and flat water paddlers. All of our Boards are tested and built in Hawaii. Wave Rod Hawaii SUP’s the “Hot Rods of the Ocean”. Wave Rod Hawaii Stand Up Paddle Surfboards are individually hand shaped and engineered with the finest materials available in the industry. They are constructed with a PVC Core Sandwiched Epoxy, EPS Foam, a PVC Stringer, and PVC Fin Box. They are wrapped with a 4 ounce layer of glass, and an 1/8 inch PVC Foam wrapped around the entire board, re-wrapped with a 6 ounce layer of glass, and airbrushed with auto paint to complete the work of art. The 10’10”’s come in four color choices – red flames, blue flames, yellow, and lime green, all of the 10’10”’s have a white deck and colored rails and bottoms. The 10’0”’s come in two color choices – yellow and lime green. The 10’0”’s also have a white deck and colored rails and bottoms. All of our Paddles are carbon fiber and come with a 172 cm carbon fiber shaft and carbon fiber concave blade, and handle. The paddle shaft can be cut to fit individual height and the handle affixed with 5 minute epoxy. The Paddles come complete with a paddle cover. We also provide self adhesive Deck Pads to cover ¾ of the boards. Wave Rod Hawaii also has 10 foot Leashes for all of the SUP’s and, 11 foot SUP Board Bags for easy travel. Wave Rod Hawaii also has our own line of custom hand shaped, hand laminated Epoxy Shortboard Surfboards ranging in size from 5’11” Retro Fishes, 6’6” Flat Fishes, 6’8” Big Boys, and 7’10” Fun Boards. All of the shortboards are glassed with 3 layers of 4 ounce glass on the top and 2 layers of 4 ounce on the bottom. All Shortboards come complete with FCS Fins, and leashes. The Wave Rod hot rod theme is carried through on all of our shortboards flame airbrush and classic surfboard design.
